How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
Burnversus Septic does not have a staff of technicians. When you call or send a request, you are connected with an independent provider in our network. That provider is a separate local business. They answer your questions, quote the job and do the work.
What Happens on the Call
Expect a few simple questions. What is happening? When did it start? Is anything backing up into the house? Have you had the tank pumped before? Your answers help the provider decide what kind of visit makes sense.
Call hours vary by provider. Request a callback to check provider availability in your area.
Questions Worth Asking
Ask before you pay. Here are some good ones, and what a solid answer sounds like.
- Can you give me a written quote? A good answer is yes, with the work and the price spelled out.
- What is included? Look for details such as tank size, access, disposal and any follow-up.
- Are you licensed and insured? You want a clear yes and a willingness to share proof.
- What do you think is causing this? A good provider explains it simply and says what they still need to check.
- Could there be other options? Honest providers will mention repair versus replacement when it applies.
Red Flags
Be careful if someone:
- Refuses to put a price in writing.
- Pushes you to decide on the spot.
- Will not explain what they found.
- Asks for the full payment up front for a large job.
A second opinion is normal for bigger repairs, such as drainfield repair or a sewer line replacement.
You Are in Control
Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can ask questions, compare quotes and take your time, even when the situation feels stressful. Costs vary by job, so always get the quote in writing.
